3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
I am entering this rating here, even though the beer is listed as Juliette Belgian Pale and the abv and ibu are ever so slightly different - lightly hazy gold - minimal lace - nose of coriander, light starchiness, mild wheat, light pepper - flavor is medium dry, with the odd starchiness that I sometimes taste in poorly made belgian ales - the middle and finish redeem the beer a bit - very dry, lightly flinty, with a crisp bitterness and light mineral bite on the end - the finish is actually quite nice - starts weak and ends strong.

3.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at Strange as "Juliette Belgian Pale". Clear golden with a thin white cap head. Aroma was faint but earthy and spicy with notes of peppery soil. Flavor was thankfully more nuanced with pale malt building the base, with Saison yeast pepperiness on top with some Belgian fruity esters like pear and tangerine, with a touch of rosemary.
