On tap at the brewery. Poured a clear golden color with a thin white head that faded to a tight ring. Aroma of doughy yeast, a soft fruitiness (tangerine, peach), clove, and bubble gum. Smooth, sweet entry with a light fruitiness (tangerine, peach) that leads into a moderately dusty, doughy yeastiness that is followed by a dry, peppery spiciness that lingers into the finish. Moder carbonation and crisp, dry mouth feel. Overall, I really liked it.

On tap @ Strange on 3/29 Poured a cloudy yellow with small white head. Aroma was spicy with bready malts and a hint of saffron. Taste was more of the same, plus a note of gingerbread. Crisp medium mouthfeel with low bitterness and slightly buttery finish.

Yellow pour that was fairly hazy with thin to no white head, on tap at the brewery. Aroma brought notes of nice fruit with pear and grape, hints of tropical fruit as well, nice biscuit malts with a slight spice note, maybe a ever so slight hint of the saffron. Taste is a nice spicy and fruity mix with tropical fruits and white fruits coming through, hints of biscuit and more spice with the saffron adding just a touch, but it worked fairly well. Fairly sweet but dry finish as well. Nice.

Turbid gold pour - minimal head - nose is dry and moderately tangy, with notes of citrus, earthy notes, flinty mineral character - flavor is medium dry, light notes of tropical fruit (pineapple, mango ) - some peppery hops and mild spicy phenols - saffron is subtle, but adds an interesting dimension to the snappy, crackery malts and light phenols - quite tasty.
