On tap at Strange poured a clear dark reddish brown with a smal;l lasting brown head. Aromas of roasted malt, bitter chocolate, licorice, orange zest and light earthiness. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of roasted malt, bitter chocolate, earthiness, orange zest, licorice and light grapefruit with a smooth moderatly bitter lingering earthy finish.
