22oz bottle in a tulip. Pours brown with a spicy head. Aroma of light spices, some soda, hints of weird fruits and off-notes, and some light caramel and chocolate malts. Flavor the same with a weird blend. Average texture. Not the best beer.

Location: Draft at the brewery, 1/17/15

Aroma: Sweeter aroma, some yeast, roast, and a little chocolate
Appearance: It pours a brown color, with some light lace and almost no head
Flavor: The flavor is along the same lines, leans sweeter, some spice as well
Palate: The mouthfeel is pretty clean, light-medium bodied
Overall Impression: I thought this was a pretty solid one. Other than the Berliner, probably my favorite out of their standard line-up.

Fudge, cocoa, soil nose, not strong. Mahogany, thick tan head. Subtle wood and earth. Soft carbonation, medium body. Very sessionable, not boring, but doesn’t wow.

Aromas of caramel, some chocolate, fruity esters, spice. Hazy brown with a mostly fading off-white head. Fruity, spicy, some roast, chocolate. Medium bodied.

Bottle gifted by one of the founders. Poopy brown pour with a small sudsy off white head. Nose is nutty at first, but fairly muted overall, some light Belgian yeast. Mildly sour flavor, some light salt water taffy. Ugh.

Sampled at the brewery. Pours a dark brown with a thin head. No discernible malt aroma. Thin mouthfeel, low carbonation. Pleasant flavor, mildly malty with belgian yeast esters giving it some fruity undertones. Overall a pleasant, non confrontational beer.
