Poured into a stein. Dark amber/brown color with almost a finger of dirty white head. Decent lacing. Fragrant ripe fruit smell: plum and orange. Musty malt and cider notes too. Clean taste of malt without any defining characteristics, but nice. Some bitterness comes in shorty later. Balanced and robust taste. Crisp with bubbly texture, moderate carbonation. A good drinking beer with a low ABV and great flavor.

12 oz bottle "from authentic imported Irish ingredients and ... brewed in the USA" (from label) served in a snifter. Pours a clear, dark brown with a small but beige head that leaves some patchy lacing. Aroma: fruity , malty and floral, in that order. Hints of toffee. Taste: a nice mix of sweet caramel and medium malt with a touch of spicy/herbal hop bitterness. Some fruitiness in the taste suggesting apples, pears and a bit of dark fruits. Mouthfeel: medium body with enough carbonation to impart some tongue tingle. Semi-dry. O: Interesting take on the style Some complexity. .

Dark amber appearance. 1 finger off white head. Brown sugar and caramel. Hints of bitterness like an esb. Taste is bland and flat soda water. Maybe unsweetened root beer? Very odd taste.

Pours nearly clear red-brown with a short tan head. Scent is light, sweet caramel and malt. Taste is caramel and cola...some soft dark fruits. Nice woody bitter...almost nutty. An excellent drinker...not flashy, deserves much better numbers. A great, solid beer.

Bottle. Nice caramel color. Caramel aroma and color. Tan head that was weak but the servers fault. Clear amber color. Not a bad beer and wouldnt mind. In a pinch. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Ok. Not my favorite style. Amber brown color. Smell and taste is surprisingly sweet cold. Ok but not my style.
