JoeMcPhee (3628), Jackson Heights, New York, USA Oct 12, 2004 Deep golden colour, thin white head. Aroma of caramel and toffee with a light hoppiness. Flavour is quite nice, caramel, apple/apricot fruit with a nice touch of hoppiness. Fairly unorthodox. Radek Kliber (3278), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Oct 4, 2005 Pale gold, visible high carbonation, small fizzy head on top. Light malty nose, light hoppy scent. Crisp. Clean lager. Medium bitterness, medium to light malt presence. Latter bitter mouthfeel goes well with crisp body. Lubiere (3144), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Jul 11, 2006 Pours a golden pils with a thick creamy white head. A lemony malt arises with light cinnamon notes, and pepper. A nice crisp sharp malt, with nice clean saaz hops, light citrus, some caramel sweetness. A very nice, crisp pils, from this little brewery. Thanks InertiaBoy for this. HogTownHarry (3141), Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, Canada Oct 1, 2005 Draught (gravity cask). At October 2005 Winking Judge BeerFest, Hamilton. Poured flishgtly hazy pale gold with a small white head. Aroma of maple, oak, sweet malt, some grain and a touch of hops. Taste starts much like the aroma but develops a surprising hop bitterness, with some floral and wheat flour notes. Solid body on this one, not much carbonation (cask!); overall one of the nicest pilsner’s I’ve had in Ontario, malt-sweet and hops to balance, excellent woody character to it. jerc (3050), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Oct 2, 2004 Draft @ C’est What. Golden amber body, smallish white head. Aroma of malt with a touch of diacityl underneath? Pleasant bitterness, with some buttery undertones. Pleasant drinkable beer, but definitely not to style. Palate is pretty good.
