Hersh (1), USA does not count May 2, 2005 Everytime I try this beer, it seems to be better than the last one. An elegant hop aroma and a smooth, fairly dry finish makes this great brew on a hot day.
does anyone know where i can get this in bottles? no-one at the LCBO or beer store has heard of it. beanmedic (323), Hamilton, Ontario, Canada Jan 23, 2005 On tap at the Winking Judge. Nice beer iwth some fruity flavours. pretty easy driniking. Good floral aroma, pale colour. I would agree with calling this a premium lager rather than a pilsner. LordBeamish (122), Boozetown, Ontario, Canada Aug 3, 2006 Updated: Aug 8, 2006341 ml bottle: Pours a golden colour with a little white head. An interesting brew to say the least. This beer was extremely fresh tasting. It starts out smooth with some sweetness on the palate and then finishes very bitter. However, as I realized later, when served ice cold the bitter flavour seems to be muted. Like I said, interesting. Pleasant hoppy aroma. A very good pilsner. Lubiere (3146), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Jul 11, 2006 Pours a golden pils with a thick creamy white head. A lemony malt arises with light cinnamon notes, and pepper. A nice crisp sharp malt, with nice clean saaz hops, light citrus, some caramel sweetness. A very nice, crisp pils, from this little brewery. Thanks InertiaBoy for this. HogTownHarry (3141), Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, Canada Oct 1, 2005 Draught (gravity cask). At October 2005 Winking Judge BeerFest, Hamilton. Poured flishgtly hazy pale gold with a small white head. Aroma of maple, oak, sweet malt, some grain and a touch of hops. Taste starts much like the aroma but develops a surprising hop bitterness, with some floral and wheat flour notes. Solid body on this one, not much carbonation (cask!); overall one of the nicest pilsner’s I’ve had in Ontario, malt-sweet and hops to balance, excellent woody character to it.
