Bottle, at RBESG 2007 in Glasgow, Grand Tasting. Amber / reddish colour. I drank this one too warm, but the beer still had a nice malty and caramel aroma and flavour.

Cask, gravity, at Bedford Beer Festival ’10. Amber with a small white head. Sweet nutty malt aroma with traces of yacht varnish. Taste is sweet, leafy and distinctly carrotty. Only slight bitterness. Quite liked this.

50cl bottle. Pours amber with a nice sized, attractive head. The nose has pine and biscuits. The taste is of creamy pine, then caramel and biscuits. The palate is light to medium bodied and textured with a lovely clean finish. Overall, a really tasty session ale.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: OCT 31, 2013 Malty, slightly sweet with a well balanced light hoppiness. Does not have the depth of some other red ales but very drinkable beer.
Edit Second Tasting (31 Oct 2013) sweet caramel and fruit dominate the aroma, this sweetness follows on the palate but with a pleasant dry finish.

This brewery has just started back up again. Though i think the loction may be different. Aroma is fruity malts with some good citrus hops. Taste is similar, though maybe a little sweet. A good session beer, that sold out in about 8 hours.
