12 oz can. Pale lager, light, thin head. Nothing offensiveness, kind of like water that is carbonated mildly. Not skunky or musty which is a plus.

Pours pale yellow with a thin white head. Aroma is grass and some very light citrus. Taste is sweet with a bitter finish. Light bodied with high carbonation and a crisp finish. Fresh from the brewery as it was dated less then 5 days old.

Pours a pale yellow color. Smell is skunky, could be the green bottle. Taste is crisp, malts and grains, slightly sweet. Overall a pretty standard pale lager.

Bottle. At a Reverend Horton Heat concert. For an "unadulterated freshness" this beer sure smells like cat piss. Thankfully, the taste was a little better, a basic american domestic with a bitter finish. Bleh.

UPDATED: FEB 22, 2012 For an adjunct lager, this is pretty good. Miles and away better than the big three. Brewed with all natural ingredients and actually tastes like beer instead of water.

From the 120z bottle at Empire Palace in Pittsburgh. A small and somewhat sentimental cult following has developed around this beer likely due to its marketing as a natural beverage made with wholesome ingredients. Poured into a glass apart from the famous green bottle it looks pasty and thin, and the flavors and taste deliver about the same. Higher levels of sweetness are also very recognizable. Not sure if itís still true, but you used to be able to visit the brewery and drink from the tap off a chained metal mug. Sure hope they still have that freebie running.

Possibly the worst beer made in Pennsylvania today. Pours so clear from tap youíd swear it was water. No aroma to speak of. Tastes like corn era drainpour. Has a slightly astringent finish which makes no sense since it doesnít taste like anything.

Straub is advertised as no additional additives or preservatives. Always on the fresh side. The beer is made only 2 hours from Pittsburgh. Crisp, clean, light and refreshing taste. There is some what, rice, and corn flakes. The taste has some other enjoyable notes of oats and other grains.. Sweet flavor in the finish. Very enjoyable for the summer. Again, affordable local beer.

Sadly micro brew and craft brew arenít the same thing. This is a small companies version of bud light as far as I can tell. No nose whatsoever, looks like fizzy yellow beer. Little taste or palate to speak of. The numbers arenít all "1" because it the lowest scores (in my mind) are reserved for things that taste BAD. This didnít taste bad, it didnít taste like anything.

Clear yellow color with a medium white head. Lot of carbonation. The flavor was kind of watered down with a slight grassy finish. Overall, not too bad.
