12oz bottle from a flipping wine bar. Pours slightly hazy pale yellow with no head thanks to the wine server and he even took the bottle with him. Tastes like a pilsner made love with a light beer. Reminds me of burger classic light or goldmine. Weak taste and light overall. At least it’s not wine. Shit my pinky is arching out.

aroma is somewhat pleasant much like its cunterpart Straub, appearance is a pale straw color, flavor tastes a lot like regular Straub but more watery and worse aftertaste, palate is watery of course, overall 6/20 because of low alcohol content

It’s not terrible but it’s not good either. Appearance is a yellowish looking color, not too appealing. There is some flavor there but it just isn’t strong enough.

UPDATED: JAN 26, 2006 Pours light, pale yellow, with a white head. Aroma is kind of weird with grain, and some malt. Flavor is somewhat sweet, with grain and some hops. I’d still rather drink this than BMC light beers.

Pours pale yellow/gold, with a white head. Aromas are grain and malt. Flavors are grain and hops, with some malt. All in all, a pretty good light beer. I rather drink this than most other light beers.

it could have been worse for a light beer. It had that light beer taste, but wasn’t as watery or thin like coors light. as far as light beers are concerned this one isn’t that bad.

UPDATED: JUN 26, 2006 I have never encountered anything drinkable from Straub and this beer proved to be no exception. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured an extremely light pale yellow with a medium sized bleach white head. The aroma is sweet and grassy. The flavor is sour and grassy with a light sour tang and a dry finish. Not good but less offensive than their regular beer.

Bottle to glass mug. Pours a dark yellow with a white head that dissipates quickly. Really weak and watery. Has that corn brew aftertaste. Maybe a little salty. Bleh.

Bottle. Extremely light sweet grainy malt aroma. Clear pale yellow with a small white head. Malt and grass flavored water. Light carbonated body.

Nothing good here, barely average. Straw yellow with think white head that disappears. Corn in aroma and taste. Not a fan, but it’s a light beer so didn’t expect much anyway.

Pretty decent for a cheap beer and something I would buy more often if the price was right.
