Lager body with a hint of hop flavor at the end. Nice well balanced lager, however a little boring.

Beerman6686 (4302) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 29, 2014
This poured a golden color with a white head. Aroma was of grassy and earthy hops and light pale malt. Like strain with a handfull of buffering hops thrown in

callmemickey (2691) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 20, 2014
Clear golden body with a medium sized white head and spotty lacing. Citrus, stone fruits, florals, and that bready lager quality that lets you know this is in fact a lager. Medium to light bodied, moderate carbonation, smooth, forgetable finish. Halfway decent for what it is.

Tap at Jekyll in Erie. Pours a hazy light amber with a thick layer of cream colored head. Aroma of malts. Taste is crisp, malts again but nothing offensive.

sonnycheeba (3496) - Federal Hill, Baltimore, Maryland, USA - MAY 30, 2014

FROTHINGSLOSH (4909) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 11, 2014
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright golden color with a huge creamy yellow-white head that lingered and left great lacing. The aroma was tangy, yeasty and bready with a bit of pine and vague fruity hops. The flavor was tangy, sweetish and malty with a bit of pine and sulfur. Medium length finish. Medium body. Meh.

Look- clean golden orange with thin head. Nose- some very faint hops. Flavor- muddled hops, crisp maltiness. Pretty average IPL.

Firkin at Real Ale. Pours clean gold with thin head. Hoppy aroma, mostly citrus with some grain. Grainy taste, medium body, light hop flavor.

kramer (4905) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 6, 2014
Bottle. Pours a clear light copper body under a small frothy off-white head that faded to a thin film. The nose is pretty nice, rather clean maltiness with some light caramel and some floral and lightly citrusy hops. The flavor is maybe a touch grainy, and the hops are fairly light, but they’re rather clean and bright. I rather like the idea of Straub doing these kind of things, not too scary for the regular customers of Straub, but a step in the right direction toward craft. Lighter bodied with soft fizzy carbonation. Nice effort Straub.
