3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Pours clear golden thin white head. Sweet bready malt aroma, hint of grass. Medium sweet taste. Light body, light stickiness in texture, average carbonation, sweet finish. As far as light lagers go this one is pretty good.

(draft @ "The Eternal Tap," Straub Brewery - St. Mary’s, PA) They added a second tap to the Eternal Tap this year, so we had to have some of it. Straw yellow pour with lots of white foam. Dry and grainy aroma with a little bitterness underneath it all. Taste is dry and grainy as well, but very smooth. Finish is smooth and watery. One of the more full-bodied and enjoyable light beers I’ve ever had, but I still prefer the original Straub. Go and take the tour! Visit the gift shop! It’s worth it.

I love Straub Beer. I am always a little dissapointed when I get this beer. It has little to no aroma and pours a pale yellow. Very watered down (but much more flavour than your average American lights). For a hot summers day, I would pick this, but not the better of Straub’s beers.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Pours a clear pale straw gold with a nice one finger foamy white head. The nose is mostly corn with a light crackery maltiness and minimal hoppiness. The flavor is pretty thin, watery corn with a hint of bitterness on the finish. Fairly clean on the finish though. Light bodied and watery with fizzy carbonation. Not too bad for a light beer, much better than most macro versions.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
clear pale yellow, small white head, ok retention, ok lacing... Grassy, straw mild sweetness but no offensive notes... light grassy hops, easy drinking, light sweetness, and light dryness in the finish.. very good light beer, with the bonus of no adjunct notes...

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 10/20
Nice clean beer aroma. Pale yellow but constant streams of carbonation rise within. Best fizzy palate. Rather refreshing and friendly. Overall, nice session brew.

2.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
I wondered why this was soo easy to diink, now that I see the alcohol content, understand. has a corny aftertaste that is not unpleasant, could see drinking quite a few of these in the summer

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a pale yellow color. Smell is mild, a touch of corn and grains. Taste is also mild, some grains, a hint of hops. Overall there is nothing to separate this from other light beers.
