Quite like this one - would go down easily with some meat at a barbecue our similar. Some tropical ipa vibes with a malty body and lasting bitterness. Slightly thin body. Murky.

ChrisO’s Pre GBBF ’Are You Scottish?’ tasting. Hazy amber beer, good cream coloured head. Palate is soft and dry. Creamy dry malt. Light hop bitterness, noble hops I think. Dry finish. Okay.

Bottle at home in London - picked up at Kris Wines. Pours cloudy amber with a large, frothy off-white head; it’s a bit over-carbonated. The aroma holds lightly toasted, bready malts, hints of semi-dark fruits, a bit of caramel. Light to medium sweet flavor with further sweet, bready malts, ever-so-slightly tangy ripening, semi-dark fruits, perhaps some dates, subtle piney bitterness. Light to medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Simple finish, more lightly toasted malts, dry fruits, soft earthy and piney bitterness. Easy-drinking stuff, certainly.
