2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Growler from Total Wine. Light gold pour, with a small, off-white head. The aroma is lemons, light cherries, and biscuits. Very sweet flavor, with a significant sourness to it. Light to medium body, lightly acidic, and fairly watery. Overall, this is an interesting beer, but itís a little unpleasant. The palate is flat, and itís missing a lot of the depth and complexity that it needs.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: FEB 23, 2013 growler. hazy gold with a fairly large, fizzy white head that quickly fades. light tropical nose. a tangy wheat with tropical notes, soda crackers, a pinch of salt. good palate. medium bodied and not over carbed. dry finish. it has a nice balance of sweetness from 2-row balanced with plenty of tart and dry wheat malt. this was my favorite at DBF between the two offerings, but i will definitely seek out that amber when itís available. i would like to see some more info on their beers. heads fades almost instantaneously, but thats probably just a growler issue. nice work!

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Wheaty aroma has a somewhat fruity note, like apple cider, and hints of yeast and hay. Pours a slightly hazy golden amber with a fairly thick, if not too persistent, pale golden head. Flavor - aah, superb! Wheaty, malty, a little fruity, hint of hay. Texture is smooth, OK body, OK tingle. Tried this from a growler. Good fortune to you, Strawn - Georgia needs more good microbreweries!
