3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pretty good beer but it is definitely not an imperial red, and the flavor profile is more reminiscent of a marzen. That said, strike seems to be focusing a little more on session style beers, so given that it probably could be considered an imperial. It’s a good beer, come support strike brewing!

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
This is my second strike beer. I am really impressed by the quality and flavor in it. I do not like the label or the name though. This is big and malty. Very dark with a deep red hue. Thin micro fine lace. Big malty red with subdued hops. Some sweetness. A hearty chocolate in there that tastes really good. Some earthy nutshell and autumn spices finish it off. Very very drinkable. It needs a little more alcohol to be Imperial as the label implies.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle; poured a dark auburn color with a khaki color. Aroma of sweet fruit, caramel, and wort. Flavor was not as good. Mild for what is labeled an imperial. Nice palate. Some toffee, sweet fruit, and earth. Ok.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bomber from Ledgers. Label states 6.5%, so Imperial? Pours dark ruddy brown with a slight beige head. Aroma of roasted malt with a hint of cacao. Med body or better. Flavor is roasted malt, some chocolate residue, and something bitter. It’s fairly dry drinking for an amber, and the result is decently bitter. Decent drink.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
A - Pours an almost clear copper-brown color with a thin finger of frothy slightly off-white head. The head fades down fairly quickly leaving behind some light lace.
S - Aroma is a mix of sweet toasted and lightly caramelized malts, a bit of bready flavor, and a hint of pine hop.
T - Starts off with a mix of sweet lightly caramelized malts with some light bready flavor and a hint of yeast character. Through the middle, a touch of pine hop comes through with some more caramel malts. The finish is a mix of caramelized malts, pine hop, and a touch of yeast character and a bit metallic.
M - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Feels smooth with a sweet finish.
D - Very drinkable. Pretty good red ale, not all that imperial. Good malty backbone.
