3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Very strong ale, with zingy citrus hops (a combination of uk and us) with peach notes. Wouldn't want to have too many of them!

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
500 ml bottle from Birra+. Dark orange, slightly hazy, with a super tiny white head, despite a very aggressive pour. Pleasent hoppy nose as soon as I cracked it open, grassy/floral, slightly tropical as well. But then it became more nutty and slightly boozy as well. Uhm. The same impressions remain in the mouth. It’s definitely too warming considering the ABV, it feels quite sticky and sugary like a bigger beer. Still, there is a decent earthy bitterness, quite astringent but not offensive. Fruity, boozy, malty and nutty aftertaste. Soft to average carbonation, medium body, slightly oily texture. Really strange beer, not what I was expecting, and I’m not entirely sure that it was intended this way.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Booths, Media City. Caramel coloured with a thin head. Strong, but this creates more of a full bodied taste than any notable alcohol strength. Hopped with a zesty and zingy hopped citrus bitterness. Its nose contains some grain and it has a lingering grainy feel on the back of the palate.

4.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle Booths Penrith. I love this. Honey gold colour with accompanying honey and peach flavours that are soft, sweet and beautifully flavoursome. Rather than a full on hop assault, there is balance to the aroma and the body is rounded and full of gorgeous bittersweet notes. One of my favourite brewers do it again

2.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle from Tebay Services
Golden amber, clear, bubbly white head, some lacing
Aroma of floral hops, sweet pale malts, soft pale fruits
Taste of bitter hops, dull citrus, pale sweet malts, alcohol, very bitter hops, flavour not great - over bitter finish affects the taste
Palate - Soft carb, medium body, little oily. Finish is over bitter, dry and astringent, long bitter linger.
Overall - Too bitter, dry and astringent which spoils the flavour. Drain pour.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Sainsbury’s. Pale gold with a thin white lacy, lasting head. Smells of hops but not in an overpowering way but rather smooth and fruity peach. Some citrus rounds it out. Creamy smooth frothy body with soft carbonation. Strong taste of hops dominate this one. Well balanced and easy to drink. Nice one.
