[cask at the Hanging Bat, Edinburgh] Obvious choice for a launch beer! Deep, mahogany brown beer with a slightly cream-coloured head. Quite fruity on the nose good mix of bramble and blackcurrant flavours, roasted chocolate malt. More of the malt on the finish, before the rich fruit comes out again. Dry finish. Very nice indeed

Cask conditioned at Oxford Beer Fest 12. Ruby brown with off white head. Sweet fruity, malty type beer, thinner than a full porter, a little wine like and grapey. Malty finish tending toward dryness. Reasonable.
