Oakes (6853), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Jan 7, 2002 Scores points for being refreshing, which I suppose is all it is shooting for. Refreshing enough and non-offensive if served ice-cold. As it warms, some bready, corny flavors and aromas come out to play. Not horrible. Just know what you’re buying if you choose to purchase a sixer or a thirty pack.
muzzlehatch (4425), Burlington, Vermont, USA Aug 23, 2006 12 oz can consumed ice cold from a Vermont Brewer’s Fest 2006 tasting glass in a tiny crappy motel on US 2 somewhere around Epoufette, MI while watching "The Punisher", late July 2006. A fluffy white quick-dying head rests sedately atop the pale clear gold body....the aroma of wet, very sweet and sugary but surprisingly not too stale grains wafts weakly from the tiny drinking vessel, barely overcoming the damp tarmac and grass smell wafting through the open window of the room or the chlorine from the shower I’d taken....the body is reasonably clean and smooth, though not as smooth as the dialogue in this fine modestly-budgeted action flick....at the finish it has a soda-with-milk character that is...not really good. Ho hum; not bad for its type. The movie was, astonishingly, better than the beer and also not bad for its genre. Fun in motels in the middle of nowhere..... Cornfield (4255), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA Sep 7, 2004 This was popular in the Chicago area in the late seventies... why, I don’t know. The only way to drink it is ice cold, since there’s little flavor or body to be enjoyed.
