COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Gråskägg (5,2 %) är vår tolkning av en vinteröl. Den kan närmast beskrivas som en lite rökig porter med generösa mängder karamellmalt och chokladmalt. Humlen är endast Bravo. Resultatet är en mjukt chokladig svart ale med en rejäl beska som balanserar upp sötman. Man kan även ana en lätt rökighet och en trevlig humlearom. Den här ölen är givetvis en säsongsöl och finns bara vintertid.

Black color, brown head. Sweet, malty, juniper scent. sweet, malty, spicy taste. Dry grainy aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, medium high dry bitterness.

Sample @ SMÖF 2011. Pours pitch black with a small bubbly tanned head. Aroma is fruity, roasted malty, bready and a bit smokey. Flavor is malty, roasted, a bit phenolic, sweetih, bready and bitter. Medium body. Finishes roasted and bitter.

Sampled at SMÖF 2011. Pours pitch black with a small white head. Smells smoky. Tastes smoky, almost smoked meat with a similar finish.

On tap at SBWF, October 6, 2011. Dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, some notes of smoke, malt, chocolate and dark fruits. The same in the taste. A good and very drinkable Porter.

Draught (Stockholm Beer Festival 2011) - Dark brown with some orange and red tinges. Smoky aroma with notes of beech and smoked ham. Smoky, fruity and slightly tangy taste with notes of dried fruit and ham. Complex, yet very easy to drink.

Draught@Sundsvall BF2010. Close to black colour, small brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, coffee, some ashes as well as dark fruits. Flavour is roasted malts, toffee, ashes mild bitterness as well as mild overriped fruits.

UPDATED: NOV 28, 2011 Draught. Black with a light brown head. Roasted, with coffee, chocolate, citrus, grapefruit, some salt and some smoke. This wasn’t bad.
