Bottle 50 cl. Dark brown with a warm reddish hue and a tall and creamy light brown head. Roasty nose with a light tartness and an edge of manure - in a good way! Medium body, roasted malt, dried dark fruit, again a little fart and manure - some kinda sulphur is it? Dry, bitter finish. 301011

500ml Bottle - Black with a foamy tan head. Roasted malt, plain chocolate, coffee and some smoky hints in the aroma. Roasted, malty and chocolatey taste with notes of Bournville chocolate, coffee, roasted malt and some smoky notes. Bags of flavour for the strength. These boys seem to be really inspired by British brewers and they produce rather authentic interpretations of British styles. Excellent.

Sampled at SB & WF 2011. Pours black with a big brown head. Smells malty. Tastes malty, smoky with a wierd bad finish.

Sample @ SBWF 2011. Pours black brown with a nice bubbly brown head leaving lace. Aroma is acidy roasted malty coffee chocolate. Flavor is sourish fruity roasted a bit sweet. Finishes longlived bitter.

Light roasted aroma of hay and dark chocolate with notes of hops and soap.
Light roasted flavour of hay and dark chocolate with notes of hops.
Roasted and hoppy finish.

ABV: 3.5%. Clear dark red brown color with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, chocolate malt, dusty malt, moderate roasted, spicy. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, nesquic - cacao, sweet chocolate - cacao, spicy, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110212]

Draught at ÖBWF 2010. It poured a pitch black liquid with a light beige head. Mild flavour of dark malts and spices. Nice considering the low ABV.
