Can @ Corralejo.
Dark golden with a small, fizzy white head. Mild apple aroma, sharp alcohol and artificial sweetener. Medium carbonation, fat and oily palate. Yuk, this is horrible. Sharp, fat, flat, vinious, artificial sweetener. YUK!

The aroma is of dry fruit but is oddly eggy. Thickly fruity, very pulp/y in the mouth. It is definitely similar to Copella apple juice. Smooth, reasonably dry with hints of almost pear-/like sweetness and a light vanilla.

Can at Chriso pre-GBBF tasting 09. Gold, thin white head. Almost white cider aroma. Cold, clear and refreshing. Some apple juice.

50cl black can, "Strong Dry Cider" it says on the label. Strong it is ( 7.5 % abv ). Clear golden colour, no head (It’s cider!!!!). Aroma of ripe apples, citrus and alcohol. In comparison to the regular "Strongbow Cider", this drinks much more like real wine! Oily, pleasingly fullbodied mouthfeel, no doubt because of the higher alcohol volume. Taste ,again, is of ripe, sweet apples, but with an appealingly bitter finish. Alcohol is well integrated into the texture. But "dry"? Not really. However, it’s superior to the regular version. Those who wrote "cheap and nasty" below should have their heads examined. Good!

A Mes rate: bottle at the ever brilliant Chris O’s Pre GBBF Extravaganza.
I was actually quite surprised with how borderline pleasant I found this. It’s pretty much identical to the regular Strongbow but a little better and slightly drier. Shite but impressive at the same time.

Can at the legend of Chriso’s pre GBBF09 Tasting. Alround rating: This seemed to get soem sort of praise from a few people, im thinking people cant tell when steve is upto some mischif!!! Really cheap and nasty cider, chemically, acidic nastyness, over carbonated to a new level. Reminisant of ace white :)
