Poured from can. It’s hard for me to be objective about Strongbow; it’s been featured in a couple of very important episodes in my life. That said, it’s a basic dry cider, a little funky, with a nice golden color. It’s cheap cider, but so far ahead of American macrociders that it’s still a damned improvement.

440ml can. Pours a clear, orange-yellow. Very fizzy, a white head if you pour aggresively enough but with no duration. Yea, slightly sour apples on the nose as you’d expect with not much more. Bit of puke perhaps. Tastes pretty much the same, some sweetness in there. Quite dry. Not one I can really even drink much of, since the heavy carbonation and sugariness gets to me.

Thoroughly unremarkable and inoffensive. Hence, easy to drink (several). Pours a bubbly golden yellow with no head. Aroma, is, surprise surprise, apple and alcohol. Not delicious apple, but not artificial tasting either. Nicely dry but not-too-dry. I found it too carbonated for my liking - the bubbles mask the flavour more than I would like. I think I’d actually like it better after letting sit open for a good half hour. I don’t remember that issue getting it on draught though.

Bottle. Pours a deep gold with faint-no white fizzy head. Aroma of light apple juice. Flavor of light, crisp apple juice, dry. Mouth feel is light body with high carbonation. Overall, an easy drinking refresher.

Generally not something I would try, but I was feeling adventurous. Sweet fruits are the entirity of the aroma, not bad... but not great either. Pours a slight off color yellow with a small, very white head. No lacing to mention. Dry and mostly mellow with a tart apple finish that dies quickly on the tounge... almost forces you to take another drink. Goes down easy and with a smile... would make a good wife.

12 oz bottle Clear medium yellow color with a small to average, fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is apple, sweet apple. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to short duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. More like dry apple juice with that alc punch at the finish. It’s OK for a cider.

God you could just drink 6-7 of these before you realize your drunk. Probably acounts for its popularity. Dry apple taste with light sweet aroma. Fizziness is just right however.

Smells like apples and a bathroom that has that bad odour.... slightly yellow, but otherwise it looks like water that has a bit of fizz and maybee pee or something in it. Strong apple taste, quite dry, a bit of alcohal in there but the sweetness and tartness balance with it. ok, but it should stay in my past student days...
