3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Lumpy (1802) - Carrollton, Texas, USA - MAY 15, 2008
Can. Very clear ultra clean body with a quarter inch foamy very white head. Nose-very much an apple juice nose. Taste-lightly dusty, light mildew, dry, high CO2, tart, crisp, apple, champagne. In short, dry, simple, prickly CO2, enjoyable, tart, a textbook dry cider. Spot on for a cider, but I don’t rate to style, and I don’t dig dry ciders all that much.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 blipp (3600) - Newark, New Jersey, USA - MAY 14, 2008
Draft. Yellow with a thin white head. Both the aroma and flavor are pretty much just apple. Very little complexity here. However, it has a crisp body and is very drinkable.
1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 yespr (20653) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - MAY 12, 2008
50 cL can. Pours clear and yellow with fizzy and quickly diminishing head. Medium dry apple aroma. Flavour is medium sweet apple. Nice initial clean apple flavour which goes into a rather strange aspertam like finish. A bit simple and almost flat.
2.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 trapez (1295) - Hilleroed, DENMARK - MAY 4, 2008
Can 0.5 l. Bought Irma Hilleroed. Colour pale yellow with small white fast vanishing head. Aroma fermented apples. Taste very dry - allright, but the apples almost disappears.
2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 mybestfriend (263) - Gothenburg, SWEDEN - MAY 1, 2008
Golden colour. Aroma is fruity with notes of apples (duh!). Flavour has a hint of sweetness and a well-balanced tartness with notes of apples.
1.7 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20 amfenlon (5) - ipswich, ENGLAND - APR 26, 2008 does not count
aroma not to great with a light amber colour to it, flavour was not to great but ok, palate is quite dry and fairly smooth, an ok drink to have on a everyday ocassion.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Wulfstan (509) - California, USA - APR 25, 2008
This is a nice cider. It’s deep gold, darker than many, clear, bright, with steady bubbles and a thin, white head dissipating to a wispy ring. It smells of slightly musty apples, a bit pungent but not overly perfumy. It is nicely sweet without being cloying like some. Compared to Ace, it is not as cloyingly sweet at first, but doesn’t lose its sweetness in the end as much. It’s smoother in feel and has a nicer, stronger apple flavour. This is one of my favourite ciders now but I rarely drink ciders anymore.
2.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 thewolf (8245) - Kolding, DENMARK - APR 22, 2008
Tap @ Lions Sportsbar, Kensington Close Hotel, London.
Pours pale golden with a small, fizzy white head. Lots of bubbles in the liquid. Aroma is sweet apples, but rather weak. High and lively carbonation. Very mild flavour, light dryness and light apples - just not much of anything.
