1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Decided to revisit this for the first time since I was about 16 - can - pours straw with a white head. Aroma of apple peel and plastic. Taste is super sweet artificial apple, sourness, watery. This is so sweet, I can still feel the sweetness permeating my mouth the day after.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
This is the creme d la creme of ciders. When I see it I buy out the place and stockpile it in my home. I just love the taste, itís like fresh squeezed apples low in sugar. Out of all of the ciders I have had the pleasure of drinking domestically and abroad Strongbow in the bottle is the best.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
From the bottle, clear bottle, golden yellow straw color, brilliantly clear. Aroma of apple juice and skins. Lots of clean apple flavor, sort of candy like, green apple. Crisp and refreshing.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Refreshing but more of a "cidre light." Tart and sweet but low on essence of apple, mostly carbonation.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
The quality I noticed the most about this cider was its huge flavor of alcohol. Drinking this was similar to drinking a glass of straight, watered down, low-budget whiskey. The sample I had came to me free in a plastic cup at the NY/NJ Mudderella in May. It was served with ice and poured a light golden color. Judging by the flavor, I would have thought the alcohol content was a lot higher than 4.5-5%. This offering tasted basically like watered down booze without any real type of flavor.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz. bottle poured into tulip-style English pint. Sparkling gold color with no head to speak of. Lots of carbonation right after pour, but itís all but gone after a few minutes. Aroma is faint sour apple. Flavor is pleasantly tart apple with some residual sweetness. This is my first time rating a cider, and frankly Iím finding myself at a loss to describe it, but itís enjoyable enough.
