I really am not a fan of any hard cider but this is different. Almost tastes like a sparkling wine, sweetyet not overpowering. It's dry like I like my champagne and isn't obnoxious like the slew of nasty Woodchuck.

UPDATED: SEP 4, 2003 I fell in love with Strongbow in London. Even though there are better ciders out there, I will always have a special place (my bloodstream) for this one.

Ever mixed vodka and apple juice? Smells great, of courese, but is bud colored and thin bodied. Not interesting.

Which one? We have dry, sweet and draught. To average them all I think that they are ok in place of a beer when one wants a bit of tartness. Cheaper than Rodenbach too.

being a cider man in a non-cider town. this is my favorite, accessable cider. very dry and sour. the best thing to cool you off on a humid summer day. this will always make the top of my list.

Typical pub cider. Not much to say about it, except that it's sweet and refreshing. This kind of product makes shadow to "real" apple cider.

UPDATED: JAN 24, 2011 Original rating, 7/20/2003: On tap. Tasted very much like what I imagine heavily carbonated and fermented apple juice might taste like. It’ll cool you off and might quench your thirst, but that’s about it. 5/3/4/2/7

Re-rating, 1/24/2011, Tap: About time I re-rate this. Gold color. Slight apple Jolly Rancher aroma. Moderately sweet apple flavor. Light tartness. A bit of puckering green apple skin.

clear pale golden colour, no foam, light fruity nose (apple), sweet and dry, flat with a cheap champagne-like finish, the relative dryness makes it just drinkable - boring; this was my first and last cider

After always seeing this grouped with the rest of the "Mike's Hard Lemonade"-type drinks at beer stores I was never in any hurry to try it. Tasted on draught at The Claddagh in Columbus, OH. Pours a light gold color with virtually no head or lacing. Apple aroma. Light-bodied and dry, and it tastes like most other Cider beers. The finish is all watery fruit. This is just not my thing.

Better Than lager not as good as Blackthorn or Natch. Used in city centres to stop fighting
