clear pale golden colour, no foam, light fruity nose (apple), sweet and dry, flat with a cheap champagne-like finish, the relative dryness makes it just drinkable - boring; this was my first and last cider

After always seeing this grouped with the rest of the "Mike's Hard Lemonade"-type drinks at beer stores I was never in any hurry to try it. Tasted on draught at The Claddagh in Columbus, OH. Pours a light gold color with virtually no head or lacing. Apple aroma. Light-bodied and dry, and it tastes like most other Cider beers. The finish is all watery fruit. This is just not my thing.

Better Than lager not as good as Blackthorn or Natch. Used in city centres to stop fighting

This being only the second cider I've rated, I'm not really certain what a good appearance is for this type of drink. I'm going to guess that this, however, with its light/medium gold color and thin head is, at least fairly typical. The nose is fairly dry, as is the flavor. It's somewhat crisp, but not too much so. This stuff tastes alright, but more ciders tasted are necessary for a more accurate comparison and rating.

From tap. Golden color and small head. High carbontaion, sweet but not overly for a cider. Good to break it up once and a while. Not bad, but from what I've had I prefer woodchuck.

On tap. Way to sweet, way to carbonated. Does not really have a cider taste. Vey disapointing.

TAP: Sweet nose and taste of apples, of course. Lovely gold color and very fizzy. Wine-like at times. Round mouth feel and a medium body.

Oh shit, I didn't realise this would qualify on the site. My rating: it's not good. N.B. This review is dedicated to the push for independence of the Australian National Party.

Very watered down. Barley any flavor to this. It was too dry and highly carbonated as well

strongbow is delightfully unpretentious and simple. i never really like my first few sips of it, especially if i've been drinking bitters beforehand. my big complaint is that it has a slightly watery finish. otherwise a fine libation.
