COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: All start up companies are vulnerable in the beginning. Well as of now for Stronzo that’s a thing of the past. We have struck gold, with this gorgeous new recipe. Without further ado, I present to you: “CA$H COW”! Imperial Lager Stout.
This black beauty is brewed with 20% roasted malts at 11% Alcohol. The lager yeast leaves plenty of room for the roasted malts to dominate the palate, without being bullied by nasty esters. After fermentation we added some oak chips and bourbon vanilla for extra complexity. There are only 400 liters, which amounts to exactly 0,00001% og the total danish beer sales last year – so be sure to get your share of this tasty brew because the chance won’t come again soon.

The aroma was really nice with a lot of vanilla and bourbon in it, but the taste really dissapointed me. the ABV is to high and you can feel it in the taste. Too bad because the feeling is that this beer could be made better.

Flaske, 375 ml. Fedladen sort med et sparsomt brunligt skum. Sveske-choko. Sjove spidse frugtige noter. Vanilie. Bourbon. Mangler lidt fylde. Gode takter, men ikke helt harmonisk. Ok bitter finish.

Bottle. Pours pitch black with virtually no head. Aroma is licorice, roasted malt, dark sugars, chocolate, oak, very mild smoke. Taste is near heavy sweet, bitter and light acidic. Body is near full, texture is thick and oily, carbonation very soft. Finishes very sweet, booze and roasted and licorice.

Bottle. Black with a small diminishing dark brown head. Chalk, dough, licorice, herbal hops, bitter dark chocolate, vanilla. Medium/full body, oily texture, near flat carbonation, medium/heavy sweet and bitter. Ok.

10,12,10,11,10,11 - 10,85 - 18/

Very dark brown beer. Smooth palate, a little dry. Mild dark malts - touches of coffee and strangely, a little whisky! Traces of dark chocolate and malt cream. Dry finish. Easy going for it’s abv.

Flat black and syrupy, with coffee, toffee and old wine barrels on the nose, rich black treacle and milk chocolate palate, hints of strawberry and vanilla, funky woody overlay. Fascinating.

Bottle at home. Pours pitchblack with a small dark brown head. Lovely. Aroma of malt, coffee and chocolate. Taste is like the aroma but also has liquorice, vanilla and dark fruit notes. Body is viscous and syrupy. Initially sweet but has a long malty aftertaste with a bit of alcohol in it. VERY good.
