A strong and heavy aroma of coffee beans. The taste is of much alcohol, just right with coffee, a little sweetness but a good bitterness that does not become too dry. A bitterness that lies down on top of the tongue. Still very akolhol flavor in the aftertaste. This beer does not have to be this strong. I think that is as beer weakness. Bottle. Pours black with a medium creamy beige head. The aroma is strong cold coffee, honey and some roast. The flavor is sweetened coffee, honey, sweet roasted malt, chocolate and has a nice hoppy bite. Huge complexity. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

330ml bottle with an unusual wax sealed bottle cap, poured into a snifter. Appearance is nearly opaque brownish black with a small creamy mocha colored head. Aroma has a strong presence of coffee, dark chocolate, raisins, muscovado, roasted malts and syrup loaf. Taste is medium bitter with a medium light sweetness. Palate is full bodied with a thick somewhat sticky texture and soft carbonation. An extreme Imperial Stout by all means, striking espresso flavour and a considerable 17.5% ABV, that adds warmth but is well masked. I enjoyed this and would recommend this beer for espresso lovers.

@ Havregatan (ett par hus bort!). Flaska från Systembolaget (95:-). Väldigt mycket nymalt kaffe i både doften och smaken, espressotoner, det finns även lite lakrits där.

Bottle from Systembolaget, 2013 version. Pours black with a small tan head. Lots of coffee in the nose, dark roasted malt, chocolate, honey, alcohol. Taste is sweet honey, coffee notes and light bitter chocolate some alcohol warmth in the finish but the alcohol is well hidden being 17,5%. Sticky moiuthfeel.

Sample at @ Copenhagen Beerfestival 2013. Pours black with a small off-white ehad. Very sweet with some bittereness. Loads of coffee aromas with hintes of dates and toffee. Full bodied. with an oily mouthfeel. Tastes like cld coffee with loads of sugar. A bit too much.

The most stupid brewery name ever
Brewed Nov 2013, bb Nov 2018

Pitch black color with medium sized brownish head, not very persistent. The aroma is peppery and pungent, this is a quality; but the coffee, strong, reminds a bit the coffee grounds, not completely exciting; roasted malt too of course; hint of aniseed and elderflower. Full bodied; strong flavor of roasted malt and coffee; but the rather important sweetness and strong alcohol presence help to keep this fragile balance; the coffee in the final is a bit more elegant than in the nose.
I’m not sure this is the kind of elephant-in-a-china-shop I want, but it’s pretty good sipper anyway.
I think of a coffee chocolate truffle.
