On tap at Fermentoren. Pours pitch black with a super creamy tan head. Super sweet taste of roasted malt, dark chocolate and intense coffee notes. The high amount of alcohol is very well hidden in this smooth and crazy thick, viscous monster of a beer. A 20cl. serving is perfect for this...liquid cake. :-)

330ml bottle with an unusual wax sealed bottle cap, poured into a snifter. Appearance is nearly opaque brownish black with a small creamy mocha colored head. Aroma has a strong presence of coffee, dark chocolate, raisins, muscovado, roasted malts and syrup loaf. Taste is medium bitter with a medium light sweetness. Palate is full bodied with a thick somewhat sticky texture and soft carbonation. An extreme Imperial Stout by all means, striking espresso flavour and a considerable 17.5% ABV, that adds warmth but is well masked. I enjoyed this and would recommend this beer for espresso lovers.
