Rating #2800, bottle 33cl from Henrik thanks, a dark beer with low brown head. Nose is on wet wood smoke and ashes like. Aroma is on dark malt and coffee, intense smoked notes and ashes, red fruit background, medium sweet. Long dry peated like aftertaste with at least ten minutes duration.

pitch dark, smooth small light brown head. aroma is strong peat smoke and iodine, also rosated malts. flavor is peat, smoke, roasted malts. good malty bitterness, wood, real good taste,but a bit watery.

Dark brown to black color, brown small head. Smoked, sweet, malty, peat scent. Sweet, malty, smoked, lactic taste. Smoke aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel, low bitterness.

Sample from tap @ Ølbaren. Pours black with a tan head. Odd taste of roasted malt, peat, chocolate, smoke and freeway. Really hard to define. Dry and bitter aftertaste. Usually I love porters - and I’m sure some will like this one too, but it’s not a beer I’d want to have again.

Bottle. Black with a medium light brown head. Aroma is acidic, iodine, roasted, burnt, peat burnt sugar. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Light dry and peaty finish. Very peated.

Draught at Ølbaren. Pitch black coloured with a medium sized beige ehad. Roasted aroma of caramel, peat and smoke. Roasted flavour of peat, smoke and coffee. Roasted finish.

Bottle 330ml.

Clear dark black colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, burnt, peat, smoke, wood, tar, iodine - blood and the PEAT PEAT. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long long duration, roasted, PEAT. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130225]

33 cl bottle. Pours pitch black with a smalltan head. Aroma is dark roasted malty and peat. Thick malty, iodine, wooden and light mouldy. Thick dark roasted finish. Ends dry and bitter, lingering peaty.

Bottle at Yespr’s - Thanks. Pitch black - lihgt brown head. High peated, lovely peated, ok bitterness, burned malts, licorice, high malty, chocolate, nice bitterness, iod, smokey power, lovley.

Linköping Beer Expo 2013. Black beer with a small brownish head. Smoked petade aroma, woody, roasted, chocolate notes, prunes, licorice, some cocoa powder. Smoked roasted flavor, sweetish, peat, ash, tar, dark chocolate, licorice, some hay. Smoked finish with caramel and hay.
