(on tap @ Ølbaren) Pours a slightly hazy, reddish copper with a huge, off-white head. Good lacework, medium retention. Aroma of fruit and tartness. Huge peach, blackcurrant and passion fruit. Oily texture, full-bodied, medium carbonation with a dry and slightly astringent finish. The taste is consistent with the aroma with some additional bitterness towards the end. Interesting brew with nice complexity. Girlfriend says: "It’s very similar to Gluttony but with a less bitter finish. Very fruity."

Bottle. Pours a murky dark amber color with an off white head. Aroma is of grapefruit, lots of orange, pine, spicy notes and a fruity note that reminds me of red ribes/redcurrants, some tropical fruit and caramel malt. The flavor follows the nose with lots of orange and that strange redcurrant like flavor, along with tropical fruit, grapefruit, grassy notes, solid bitterness, caramel and lightly toasted malt. The body is medium with a dry mouthfeel. Overall a pretty interesting Amber Ale, I kind of like that redcurrant-like flavor.

From tap at Ølbaren. Pours cloudy to hazy amber with a small off white head. Aroma is fruity, hoppy and light toasted malt. Slid bitter, somewhat undefineable fruity to the solid hops blend. Light toasted malty. Bitter and fruity finish.

[ Trade by Papsoe ]. Unclear medium amber orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, forest soil - woodland, moderate hoppy, flowers, orange - citrus, pine - spruce, dough. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, caramel, hops, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120201]

Hazy amber beer, small off white head. Crisp and semi dry palate. Bitterish pine with a trace of citrus and a definite apple note. Okay malt base. Touch of red berry fruits. Semi dry finish with the bitterness ramping up. Bit of a dichotomy this beer, nice flavours but skewed by the apple.

Draft. A hazy dark red beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of humle, toffee, malt, and bread. The flavor is sweet with notes of chewy malt, caramel, and spicy hops, leading to a bitter finish.

Pours hazy amber color with medium lasting head. Aroma of mild vegetables, caramel, lingonberries, some grass and malts. Flavor of harsh bitter malts, caramel, grass, mild lingonberries, spice notes and goose berries. Interesting but with some off-flavors.
