Bottle. Black, big brown head. Lightish roasted, coffee aroma. Coffee, dark chocolate, smoke base flavour, detectable ye edges, light minerals. Pleasant enough roast and hop balance in the finish.
Dry medium bodu, sparkly mellow mouthfeel. Roast stickiness and herbal hops in the aftertaste.

330 ml bottle. Aroma heavy with coffee, smoke, chocolate, dark malts. Taste burnt, coffee, chocolate and some spice. Finish is burnt and spicy.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Black beer with a rich lasting beige/brownish head. Roasted coffee aroma, licorice, rye bread, dark chocolate, caramel, cocoa, some dark fruits. Coffee flavor, roasted, bitter, cocoa, tar, dark chocolate. A bit too much coffee.

Very dark brown color, dark brown head. Coffee, sweet, alcohol scent. Malty, sweet, coffee taste. Coffee aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, medium bitterness.

(Bottle). Aroma and taste of heavily roasted malt and coffee, a little burnt in tone. The taste is mighty and powerful, but it has unfortunately a touch of cigarette ash that I do not like.

Flaska från SB. Kolsvart, högt beige skum. Stor doft, fruktig och bärig espresso, choklad, svartbröd, mörkt socker, rostad malt. M unkänslan en lite kolsyrigt men också rund och len vilket skapar en fluffig känsla i munnen, smerna är stora och mörka. Fruktig espresso, fruktigt mörk choklad, viss sötma med drag av katrinplommon, en lite örtig och grönpepprig beska. Örtig och ganska torr eftersmak som känns lite ovanlig för stilen. Komplex, bra balans och ritigt god.

A pretty good Rye Stout, smooth and rich from coffee and chocolate. Somewhat unbalanced in taste with a slight overdose of chocolate in my taste.
