Shared bottle at Ole Anders’ tasting. Opaque grey golden body with a white rim. Bitter orange and scented eraser on the nose. Acidic fruity flavor with notes of orange and coriander. Medium body. Light astringent mouthfeel and a hint of chlorine in the end.

Shared bottle at local tasting. Pours hazy straw coloured, no head. Aroma of liquorice, anisette and yeast. Taste of coriander, fresh and interesting beer.

500 ml bottle, from Superbest, Hirtshals. ABV is 5.1%. Golden colour, hazy only when the yeast is poured in the end. Moderate white head. Wheaty aroma with distinct notes of coriander and chamomille, citrus in the background. The flavour is also wheaty, fairly dry and refreshing, again with distinct notes of coriander, and more moderate notes of chamomille and citrus Some hops in the finish.

Hazy straw yellow color, white head. A hint of wheat bread, yeasty, light acidic scent, fresh. Sweet, spicy, malty, herbal taste, fresh also. Medium mouthfeel, low bitterness. Some elderflower.

Bottle, rated from backlog. Aroma light of grain, spice and fruit. Taste is grainy with the same notes.

Bottle. Pours light hazy lemon yellow with medium white head. Aroma is wheat flour and bread, rye flour, citrus and coriander. Taste is light bitter, light acidic and faint sweet. Body is milky with fizzy carbonation. Finish is medium long with notes of bread, citrus, mango, melon and faint hints of spice (maybe coriander and cloves).

Bottle 50cl from Henrik. A cloudy yellow beer with huge head, nose is horrible on yeast and astringency. This is a typical poor try of a belgian wit, exactly what a home brewer got the fist time he tried this style. Dry, no malt notes, astringent, watery, over heated yeast notes, and that’s it very poor.

Reaches not quite up to the Belgians original. Lacks a proper acidity. Tasty and well hopped.

Bottle. Pours hazy pale yellow with airy white head. Light aroma of grain and fruit. Pleasant, non-aggressive taste of hop and grain. A nice thing.

UPDATED: MAY 10, 2013 Flaske fra Føtex: lett aroma og smak, ikke en fyldig og smaksrik hveteøl synes jeg. Heller litt tynn i ettersmaken og sånn passe munnfylde. Flaske hos Ole Anders mai-13: tydelig koriandersmak og kamille med dropsaktig syrlighet. Bedre enn jeg husket og vel verdt en gjenvisitt. Aromaen minner om barndommens viskelær m/duft sier Asle Bjørn og det er en treffende beskrivelse. Opp fra 2.7 til 3.1
