3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
500ml bottle (K Kamppi, Helsinki)
Pale, but a full spongy head, and sticky lacing. Lovely crisp fruity citrussy hop aroma, with gentle pale malts behind it - just what I want from a pale ale. Sweeter and fuller malts in the mouth, a bit of toffee, quite biscuity. Very refreshing palate, pleasant carbonation. Lovely biting tingly citrussy hop finish - I feel it making my teeth go metallic. Super quaffer - this really was glug, glug, gone.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Light golden, hazy, small to average and mostly diminishing head. Moderate, malty and sweetish aroma, light caramel - faint bread, some floral fruitiness and light herbal hoppyness. Body is light to medium, malty and sweetish flavor, light - some caramel/toffee and some floral fruitiness, light herbal hoppyness. Finish is average, malty and lightly sweetish - sweetish, light caramel and toffee with light fruitiness, light grassy hoppyness. Caramel sweetish ale - way too sweet for me. Could really use more bitterness.
