COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Regular.
This is a pale ale of 4.5% with Fuggles used as the main bittering hop - then late hopped for a luscious floral aroma. Our launching brew and a great summer beer!
Edwin Beard Budding of Thrupp, Stroud, invented the lawnmower in 1830 - 'for the purpose of cropping or shearing the vegetable surface of lawns, grass plats, and pleasure grounds'.

[500ml bottle, Drinkmonger Edinburgh] Pours a hazy golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma of wet hay, straw, faint apple tinge. Some citrus. Flavours are pretty similar, gets yeasty and very tangy towards the end. Dry and bitter [12022013]

Aroma: Weak floral aroma.

Appearance: Clear amber body with a tiny white head that soon fades to nothing. Very light carbonation. No lacing.

Taste: Simple grain, citrus and earthy flavours. Mild bitterness.

Palate: Thin to medium body with a slightly oily mouthfeel. Nice carbonation fizz.

Overall: Quite bland but perfectly drinkable. I wouldn’t buy this again - it’s just ok.

Bottle. Slightly hazy gold with a thin white head. Honey, lemon, floral nose. Really nice mouthfeel with just enough carbonation to carry the delicate malt, lemon, honey and slight toasty notes across the tongue. Drinkable and delicious.
