Bottle at Chriso Easter "Flags of many nations" Tasting, 31/03/13 thanks to Leighton - he’s a big Jamie fan !
Clear golden amber with a thin white head that clears edgeward and purveys a fim atop the beer.
Nose carries dark malt, light booze, apple pie, sugars, toffee.
Taste comprises lightly soured fruit, pear, apple, sugars, dark malts, caramel.
Medium bodied with fine carbonation, bitterness in the finish.
Not a bad drop - surprised this didn’t put up more of a fight with the average Belgians on show !!!
