Bottle at home courtesy of ales by mail, cheers Paul! Pours dark amber with good sized dense fluffy white head and aroma of orange yoghurt plus vanilla. Well carbonated with zesty orange and a touch of corriander plus shortbread malt. Hadn’t noticed there was stuff added to this until i read the label. Nicely done.

Bottle. Bronze and clear with a small head. Slightly malty with a race of fruitiness. With a bit more body this would have been a bit more impressive.

Bottled. A brwon beer with no head. The aroma has boozy sweetness, brown fruits and malts. The taste is fruity and malty. Sweet brown fruits again. Quite characterful but I’d prefer more hops.

Bottle. Bronze with a thin foam. Aromas are floral with lemon sherbet and plenty of floral notes. Some raisin and berry fruitiness. Flavours are fudge with weetabix and dusty yeast. Earthy, dry hops with a buttery palate. Peppery and dry on the finish. Pretty decent.

Bottle. Amber beer with a strongish head. The aroma is bitter, malty and roasted, and the flavour is toffee and bitter. Overall an OK bitter.

Cask, gravity at the Pig ’n’ Falcon, St Neots, Cambridgeshire. Attractive reddish amber with a small white head. Slight malt aroma. Taste has a little citrus and malt, but the bitterness is the main feature.

Bottle that I picked up at Bellingers, Jet Garage, Grove, Nr Wantage, Oxon, purchased and consumed the same day 03-01-10 Pours mid amber with a filmy white head. The aroma was not as spicy or citric as the description hinted that it would be, I get more toffee, malts and a merest hint of chlorine, the latter possibly being a Thames tap water rinse of the glass. Some light citrus in the mouth, light caramel and a decent malty backbone. A fine beer but possibly a bit weaker compared to many of the others on the Stroud stable. A6 A3 F6 P4 Ov12 3.1

Cask Stillage from the GBBF Earl’s Court, London 09/08/2008 Fruity aroma. Bronze mid brown coloured smooth on the palate and fruity with a little roast flavour in a crisp and dry lasting malt finish.
