A Mes rate: gravicask at GBBF.
Bright mid amber brown with a thin white rim. Plain earthy malt with some slight detergent. Watery and almost certainly on it’s way out.

Bottle, 500ml. A deep copper colour with a small head. Aroma of floral hops with a hint of malt. Taste has plenty of roasted malt with good floral hop flavours coming through, plus a hint of barley. Light carbonation, moderate bitterness. A fresh citrus finish.

Cask-conditioned at the Black Horse, Amberley Gloucs, April 2007. Dark amber coloured with a slight head. Aroma of citrussy hops. Flavour was slightly fruity with a dry finish. Not bad for a session beer.
