Bottle that I picked up at Bellingers, Jet Garage, Grove, Nr Wantage, Oxon, purchased and consumed the same day 03-01-10 Pours mid amber with a filmy white head. The aroma was not as spicy or citric as the deScription hinted that it would be, I get more toffee, malts and a merest hint of chlorine, the latter possibly being a Thames tap water rinse of the glass. Some light citrus in the mouth, light caramel and a decent malty backbone. A fine beer but possibly a bit weaker compared to many of the others on the Stroud stable. A6 A3 F6 P4 Ov12 3.1

Cask Stillage from the GBBF Earl’s Court, London 09/08/2008 Fruity aroma. Bronze mid brown coloured smooth on the palate and fruity with a little roast flavour in a crisp and dry lasting malt finish.

Cask conditioned at The Crown & Trumpet, Broadway, Worcs. Amber to chestnut with white head. Quite a thinnish bitter on the palate, dry flowery hop character giving a hoppy bitterness, slightly peach flower in style. Surprisingly little in the way of malt note given the colour. Still very drinkable though.

Cask @ GBBF 2008. Pours a clear amber color with a small off-white head. Has a sweetish fruity hoppy caramel aroma with some hints of citrus. Sweetish malty hoppy citrus flavor with some hints of caramel. Has a sweetish malty caramel finish with some hoppy citrus in the aftertaste.

Copper-coloured body with great clarity, but no head. Sweet aroma of fruits. Dry malt-fruity flavoured ale with a smooth bitter aftertaste. Medium palate with soft carbonation (half pint, hand-pulled at GBBF, 07.08.2008)

A Mes rate: gravicask at GBBF.
Bright mid amber brown with a thin white rim. Plain earthy malt with some slight detergent. Watery and almost certainly on it’s way out.
