Bright mid amber brown with a thin white rim. Plain earthy malt with some slight detergent. Watery and almost certainly on it’s way out.

Cloudy amber with tiny white short lasting head. Sweet malty aroma with caramel notes. Flavor likewise with hoppy notes towards the end.

Bottle, 500ml. A deep copper colour with a small head. Aroma of floral hops with a hint of malt. Taste has plenty of roasted malt with good floral hop flavours coming through, plus a hint of barley. Light carbonation, moderate bitterness. A fresh citrus finish.

Cask @ Reading Beer Festival 2008.
Clear medium amber orange color with a small to average, frothy - creamy, fair lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, moderate hoppy, citrus, spicy, fruity ala mango, banana. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat. (030508)

Cask-conditioned at the Black Horse, Amberley Gloucs, April 2007. Dark amber coloured with a slight head. Aroma of citrussy hops. Flavour was slightly fruity with a dry finish. Not bad for a session beer.

Cask gravity at Reading BF 2007. Chestnut. OK condition, beige thin head. Undistinguished aroma, some syrupy malt. Bit uncultured, bit muddy. Not great.
