COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Good stuff. Different stylistically, the grain is more biscuit buttery with med malt mouthfeel. The hops are correctly used and taste good, smell is not much there. The Belgo yeast is softer and a little wild slight sour tinge to taste. Good stuff

It has traveled and it shows. Aroma is a nice piney hop smell with a little exposure skunk in the background. Pours with a ton of head, that doesn’t go away. Otherwise, a pretty clean IPA.

Bottle shared. Amber coloured with white foam. Aroma is fruity. Taste hints of abricot, fruity, light bitterness. Not bad. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Thanks to David Johnson for the birthday gift. A cloudy orange color with a white head. A light farmhouse aroma with a touch of floral hops at the finish. Smooth with a nice Belgian and light IPA finish.

Would argue this is more Belgian pale ale than Belgian IPA. Spirited deep copper pour with long lasting head. Taste is Belgian fruits and spices over a solid pale ale base. What I'm missing are hops and bitterness in the flavor, as would be expected from an IPA -- little of the former and next to none of the latter. Overall, good and solid, but misnamed. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Other than the name and the alcohol percentage, everthing about this screams more like a pale ale than an IPA. It’s almost like a slightly hopped up Belgian amber ale, really. It’s okay at best.

Head: Large, creamy, off-white
Colour: orangy clear amber
Smell: pilsner malts, tad irony, very malty
Taste: start is lots of old mown grass, some bitterness, yeast, malt, a bit chemical, dry ... not really good in my eyes ...

A finger and half of head on a cloudy, apricot colored body. The aroma is walnut, orange and lemon. The walnut is an interesting note, but it fits. The taste is moderately bitter, orange sweet in the middle, then sour at the end. The profile seems disjointed but it’s unique. Crisp texture, moderate carbonation and medium body. A good and worthy IPA .
