Unclear - hazy matt medium red - orange amber colour with a fizzy, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate hoppy, pine, orange - citrus, light grapefruit. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and heavy bitter with a long duration, light yeasty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20110923]

Bottled. A deep red beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of citrusy hops, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and tired hops, leading to a dry and bitter finish.

Bottled@vPBF2012. Amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is sweet malts, some fruity and floral notes. Flavour is glueish sweet fruity notes with some sweet malts and mild alcohol. Balanced and nice sweet nectary and sweet malty aftertaste.

Bottled, at tasting at _angst_. Lightly hazy dark amber, rich head. Aroma of tropical fruits and resin. Mid sweet with medium-full body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Inky already from the nose, extremely bitter in the finish. Just massively overhopped. No nuances appear.

Cloudy dark amber color with a generous head, very compact. Strange aroma, there is some phenol, manure, vegetables, cabbage, cheesy yeast. Full bodied, strong caramel flavor, there is just a moderate residual sweetness; the hop provides an interesting fruity flavor, Sevilla oranges, and mild resins; in the final the Belgian character appears, not prominent.
Pleasant, quite balanced, a bit sturdy.
