COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
First blended by Glenn & Urbain at the Bles Festival in Zottegem Belgium, last October 2008, for the beer geek public, and around closing time. Many positive feedbacks around the blend, kept following both breweries. As a tribute, and honour to the late Pre-Zbf 2009 festival, we decided together with Alvinne, to officialize this blend to a one time labelled bottling this year. Only a thousand 33cl bottles were filled, to be distributed and sold on this fest, and in our respective shops.

A Mes rate: bottle from the Alvinne shop.
Awesome candy apple red colour with a thin pinkish head. Stunning fresh cherry aroma, green but excellent. Plenty of wood and bretty character too. A little on the tinny side in the mouth giving it a sucking a freshly cut finger type flavour. Impressively tart and lively, plenty of carbonation. We’re sat here on a glorious summer evening with the doors open out onto our terrace and this is fitting the moment just right. So so much cherry in this. The Kerasus comes through clear as day yet the awesome Struise sour madness underneath still has room to sing. Superb tarty lemon cherry finish with really good length. I know I like it but I feel I love the unblended originals a little more.

Shared by HogTownHarry with Blankboy and I. Appearance: Cherry red with a quickly diminishing pink head. Aroma: Blankboy: "Yes, yes, yes" and I agree! Cherry, sour, spice, lovely tartness, mouth watering. Flavour: Super spicy, cherry, tart as hell with a lovely pepper finish. Super!

Bottle (330ml). Shared with blankboy and garthicus - via ... harrisoni? reakt? mesandsim?. Thick pour, murky reddish, decent creamy-frothy off-white head. Ahhhhhhh - that smells great - funky sour cherry, juicy malt underneath, day-um! Taste - pretty mild - nice cherry / light lemon funk balance, almost sweet. Average body, acidic, quick-finishing, leaves a tasty zingy lemon zest linger - a truly delightful light fruity sour - thanks, whoever!

33cl bottle @ De Molen Shop. Pours a unclear bloody red with a pinkish creamy foam. Marzipan and sweet cherries are the first impression. Tart , oak, acidic and a bit of cellar. Almond before a very dry end.

Bottle @ Kulminator. Pours dark red with light pink head. Aroma of sour cherries and funk. Taste includes tart cherries, grainy yeast, oak, and a medicinal taste which isn’t so pleasant. Finish is very bretty.

Bottle @ The Farm. Deep red with a medium off white to pinkish head. Aroma had tart cherries, brett and hints of lacto. Flavour was quite tart with fresh cherries, brett, wood and hints of lacto. Finished tart. Really refreshing.

Extremely beautiful deep clear blood red body with a fine sparkle, the very beautiful pink head could last a little longer; There is not that much aroma at first but it opens a little with time in the glass, the aromas are a fine composed and balanced mix of warm marzipan and sour cherry meat, the yeast becomes clear behind and adds something sharp that doesnt really fit; The body is a little thin and the cherry plays very little part here, the yeast on the other hand is quite apparent, lightly acid, good but not as balanced as the nose; It finishes very light as well, light acids, light fresh aromas, again the yeast is a little to present normally I like this yeast taste and in the Struise Lensis it is perfect, but here it doesnt really fit. Refreshing and very drinkable, if there will be a second batch I will be looking very much forward!
