Sample @ Copenhagen Beer Celebration. Pours hazy reddish brown with a small creamy pinkish offwhite head that slowly dissipates while leaving some trace on the glass. Smell is rather subtle, sweet and tiny sour with sour cherries, burnt sugar, vinegar, plums, dark grapes, mandarin oranges, lemon zest and hay. Taste is tiny sweet and very sour with cherries, dark grapes, hay, lemon juice, orange peal, grape zest, leather and hints of barnyard. Mouthfeel is tart, slightly dry and medium bodied. Finish is tart and sour with barnyard, crackers, cherries, hay and lemon zest.

Tap @ CBC. Hazy dark copper pour with a small white head. Aroma is balsamico, cherriess, brett, red wine components, vanilla, oak, leather and a bit of lacto. Taste is nicely sour, balsamico, vinegar, brett and leather, cherries, red curtants, very dry finish with brett, no sweetness left in this baby. I like this shit.

Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2012. Somewhat hazy amber/reddish beer with a small off-white head. Fruity vinous aroma, figs, sourish. Sourish fruity flavor, raspberry notes, some leather.

Couleur rougeâtre/acajou, col blanc fin.
Arôme de cerise en aspect noyau et peau avec léger tanin.
En bouche, cerise sur aigreur fruitée et pointe de malt. Sec en bouche avec une pointe de levure. Plus forte en alcool qui si comparée à la version Alvinne Kriek de Mortagne reste un peu en retrait. Reste une sour très agréable avec un beau profile fruité de cerise qui sont mises bien en avant.

Little cloudy reddish to rust brown beer, small beige head, unstable, bit adhesive. Aroma: sour, cherries, Rodenbach, marzipan. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: sour, yoghurt, raspberries, sour cherries, tobacco. Aftertaste: lemon juice, little bitter, fruity, very sour. Love it.

12oz bottle from secret santa 2011. Ruby brown with an almost non-existant head that disappears pretty much instantly. Funk, light sour with a bit of tang although not overwhelming, cherry. Moderately low carbonation and body, slight and growing sour with acidic, becomes dry, with some cherry, combination of light funk and more sour. Quite nice.

Der kirschige Säureantrunk ist ziemlich wässrig, was angesichts der gelungenen Aromen schade ist. Die Aromen werden mit der Zeit zwar stärker, bleiben aber weit unter dem, was ich mir wünsche. Mild, permanent trocken, zunehmende Bitterkeit. Gelungen. 6/9/11/7/11/9

Bottle. Pours a cloudy reddish/brown with no head. Aroma of brett, cherries, acid. Finishes dry and it is a nice sour. Light cherry flavor, fairly well done.

Bottle, Kulminator. Pours a clear ruby red body with a nice fizzy one inch pink tinged head. The nose is bretty and funky with some minimal cherry. Doesn’t smell acetic or sour at all, just funky. The flavor is dry and funky, tons of brett, just a touch of fruitiness on the finish, but no sweetness at all. More dry and pitty than fruity. Zero acetic acid, just tons of funk. Mouthfeel is fully attenuated and completely dry with fizzy soft carbonation. Not overly lively. Very nice well-rounded ’wild’ ale. I like it a lot.
