COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
First blended by Glenn & Urbain at the Bles Festival in Zottegem Belgium, last October 2008, for the beer geek public, and around closing time. Many positive feedbacks around the blend, kept following both breweries. As a tribute, and honour to the late Pre-Zbf 2009 festival, we decided together with Alvinne, to officialize this blend to a one time labelled bottling this year. Only a thousand 33cl bottles were filled, to be distributed and sold on this fest, and in our respective shops.

Tap at CBC. Probably the most popular beer poured at our booth. Cheap and not really that much less complex and delicious compared to 1983 Dirty Horse which kicked very quickly both days. This Keralensis batch did not get a big acetobcacter infection like the Cherilensis.

Full haze strawberry pour with retentive pink foam. Sheets of lace atop a glowing light purple pour. Nose is a bit eggy, sharp cherry and real strawberry. None of that sticky strawberry flavoring nonsense. Taste is sharp, salty, lightly spice with muted acetic heat from the Alvinne blend. New Glarus Enigma like with a sweet and sour playoff from the blending. Blend subdues the acetic heat. Quenching. Fully successful at the style.

Sample @ Copenhagen Beer Celebration. Pours hazy reddish brown with a small creamy pinkish offwhite head that slowly dissipates while leaving some trace on the glass. Smell is rather subtle, sweet and tiny sour with sour cherries, burnt sugar, vinegar, plums, dark grapes, mandarin oranges, lemon zest and hay. Taste is tiny sweet and very sour with cherries, dark grapes, hay, lemon juice, orange peal, grape zest, leather and hints of barnyard. Mouthfeel is tart, slightly dry and medium bodied. Finish is tart and sour with barnyard, crackers, cherries, hay and lemon zest.

Tap @ CBC. Hazy dark copper pour with a small white head. Aroma is balsamico, cherriess, brett, red wine components, vanilla, oak, leather and a bit of lacto. Taste is nicely sour, balsamico, vinegar, brett and leather, cherries, red curtants, very dry finish with brett, no sweetness left in this baby. I like this shit.

Draft @ ACBF 2012, Moen.

Little cloudy reddish to rust brown beer, small beige head, unstable, bit adhesive. Aroma: sour, cherries, Rodenbach, marzipan. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: sour, yoghurt, raspberries, sour cherries, tobacco. Aftertaste: lemon juice, little bitter, fruity, very sour. Love it.

12oz bottle from secret santa 2011. Ruby brown with an almost non-existant head that disappears pretty much instantly. Funk, light sour with a bit of tang although not overwhelming, cherry. Moderately low carbonation and body, slight and growing sour with acidic, becomes dry, with some cherry, combination of light funk and more sour. Quite nice.

Mild, permanent trocken, zunehmende Bitterkeit. Gelungen. 6/9/11/7/11/9

Bottle. Pours a cloudy reddish/brown with no head. Aroma of brett, cherries, acid. Finishes dry and it is a nice sour. Light cherry flavor, fairly well done.
