3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
75cl bottle shared at DSG and jsquite tasting at Chris’. It pours a hazy straw yellow colour with a large soapy white head. Aroma is full on the fruit notes with mainly peaches. Loads of peaches, really. Almost peach marmelade. Taste is lightly funky and grassy, light barnyars, and big peachy notes again. Light sourness throughout and light sweetness in the finish. Some citrus notes. Medium to light body with average carbonation. Overall, way above expectations and very enjoyable, although lacking in complexity for sure.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Enjoyed at the 4de Gents Bierfestival, 2013.
The 75cl bottle pours with a deep gold body that has a thin copper core and supports a nearly bright white head of foam. The modest aroma offers up muted peach fruit notes, cantaloupe, cucumber and a few milligrams of salt. The taste has a nice smooth yet muted apricot and peach fruit sensation along with lesser amounts of citrus tart spikes here and there. It runs into some soured citrus to midway and into the finish. This is very crisp and snappy with a sort of sessionable sour mash Berliner feel to it too. Cool beans.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Very good fruit beer. The soft smooth taste of the peaches goes really well with the round vanilla tones of the bourbon.
