Bottle from Etre Gourmet. Pours hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma of rhubarb, apricot and citrus fruits. Taste is complex, strong vegetable bitter, almost harsh, but balanced with fruity sweetness, light sour. Good carbonated. Complex and different.

Bottled. An unclear yellow beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of brettanomyces, wheat, lemons, peaches, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of lemons, peaches, wheat, and straw, leading to a dry finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a hazy yellow with a lacing white head. Thick, sweet peach aroma paired with subtle vanilla. Light body, sweet and fruity, loads of peaches with a little hops. Not so much Bourbon character, but a very well composed beer - if a strange blend! 270413

Leighton (6887) - London, ENGLAND - MAR 25, 2013
Bottle at the ChrisO Snow Tasting, London. Thanks to Colin! Pours cloudy yellow with a fine, white foam head. Light pale malt nose, some white grape notes. Light to medium sweet flavor with faint peach, white sugar and dough. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Pale, lightly dried out dough to finish. So so. As an aside, I met the woman on the label of this beer during my March 2013 visit to Struise!
