33cl bottle @ Cosmic comic Cafe. Bbe 05/2015. Black color, brown head. Sugary, ashy aroma, some chocolate and mild spicy notes. Flavor has suryp, ash, vanilla notes and molasses. Super sweet. Nah, donít get the hype here.

A massive beer. This one I THINK is from 2007, the label was very faded and saw that date on it - got this from a trade and have a new one, drinking this older one first. Black pour from a 12oz bottle at home. Rich fruity aroma - plum, sweet, chocolate, and raisin. Cocoa, sweet, vanlla, cranberry, and raisin taste, pretty bitter also. Has a lot going on, hard to pick it all out, each drink brings up new tastes. Great beer.

100 ml podczas Warszawskiego Festiwalu Piwa, paź, 2014 r. Ciemne, gęste, nieprzejrzyste. Brak piany. Niesamowite doznania podczas degustacji. Czuć aromat wanilii, czekolady, kawy w nozdrzach a następnie w gardle. Smak utrzymuje się w gardle przez bardzo długi czas. Piwo do długiej degustacji. Alkohol bardzo dobrze ukryty. Rewelacyjne piwo. Oceniam to piwo bliskie perfekcji.

2xBottled, Silvester 13/14 + LOT:30-06-HH, consumed 01/2015, compared to draft BBF 2013 and 2014: this high-octane parade horse by Struise benefits from being drunk fresh & creamy on draught: the rich and creamy double chocolate and ice coffee malts were markably dried out in a modestly aged bottle, thining them out while adding little surplus complexity. - Nice choco mousse head. Simple in aroma, powdered cocoa at best, goes over into dry cocoa, liquorice, a hint of bayleaf, aniseed dry yeast and dry caramel. As far as Struise classics go, I would prefer the rich yeast complexities of Pannepot to this amped, relatively straightforward "royal" stout. Bonus points: hiding alcohol and keeping dry a stout this massive. Note: score is a mean of draught and bottled.

2 bottles (BB 2018, BB 2013) at the overpriced beer tasting, thanks for sharing guys! Pours dark brown-black with light brown head. The head stays for a second. Aroma is dark chocolate, licorice, fruity notes. Flavor is sweet, dark chocolate, licorice, malt. Overall: I actually preferred the fresh one, it was more punchy. Nevertheless, both versions were great.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Itís almost like everything the Struisse brewery touches becomes gold. What a wonderful strong dark Stout. Itís aroma of dark chocolate, caramel, barley and plum is incredible. It pours a thick dark beer with a black foam, a true beuuty among the Stouts.
