Draft @ Struise Brugge shop.

Draft tasting glass @ Struise Shop in Brugge. Quite dark brown / black with a quite a big of mocha head, slightly sinking. Chocolate, mocha, cacao, sweet dark fruits, sweet in general, picking up on the standard Black Albert profile with some whisky riding on top, peated, is that correct? Peated in a very balanced way, nice, complimenting, dark berries (general), mocha, chocolate, sweet, fruity, cacoa, dark sugar, sweet coffee, fruity,… bit of complimenting booze in the back. Touch creamy,…med full. Lovely variation upon the Black Albert.

Clear dark brown beer, huge fluffy brown head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: dusty, dry, cocoa powder, some overripe fruits, mocha, toast, bit fruity, caramel, bit sugary. MF: ok carbon, full body. Taste: some caramel, mocha, vanilla, sugary, alcohol, bit fruity, coffee. Aftertaste: mocha, caramel, some sugar, bitter touch, earthy, leather, bitter hops, sweet ending.
