Rating #1600 Pours pitch black with a brown head. Aroma of liquorice, chocolate, port, weak vanilla, smoke, coffee, cocoa, dark fruits and some roast. nice and smooth aroma. The taste is sweet with notes of port, dark berries, cocoa, chocolate, roasted malts and liquorice. The blackberries are subtle but you get some kind of dark berries both in the smell and taste. Bottle, a nice one! Pours thick pitch black with huge tan head. Did gush. Aroma is sweet, port, blackberries, chocolate, rich and dense, caramel, roast barley, brownie, nutte and some vanilla. Some liquor and sweet grapes. Aroma is packed with roasted malts among burnt oak, char, vanilla, fruity blackberries, dark fruits, puddersukker, sweet port. Dark bitter chocolate and dry cocoa. Very well rounded. Fudge and roast barley finish. No sight of abv. Light light acidity from the berries or oak. Very smooth.

Dark, deep, with a rich purple hue. A touch of sweetness, strong roasted malt, complex fruit flavors that last for what seems like a minute after each sip. Blackberry and chocolate fight for the finish. Spectacular.

Bottle, shared at RBAG 2015 by dfearnly. Near black, hearty black malts, spicy, with understated berry character. Not sure whether the berry adds much here, but such a great beer anyway!
