COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Black Damnation series is a dark twist of Urban’s mind. His idea is to realize a dozen beers with the use of Black Albert, and over a period of two years, that are as black as hell, filthy rich in the nose and with a massive taste.

Black Damnation III was made with Black Albert that aged for 3 months on Paul Melia’s (Mes) favorite Whisky, the "Caol Ila’s Distillers Version 1995".

Bottle. Pitch black, quite a dark brown head. Aroma: dark fruit, brown sugar, yeast, light butter. Taste: licorice, cocoa, coffee, brown sugar, light peaty, creamy chocolate. Full bodied. Would have like to get a more pronounced Caol Ila influence in this beer.

Uitgeschonken in De Struise Brouwers bierglas.

Bottle@Kaisla, Helsinki, Finland. Strong aroma of licorice, coffee and chocolate. Pitch black color with minimal beige head. Strong taste of licorice, coffee and plum. Sweet roasted malts and a hint of bitter notes. Balanced with wide taste spectrum and medium aftertaste with licorice and roasted malts. Strong body with low/medium carbonation. Overall the holy black mess, though bit bitter, otherwise perfect.

No head, deep brown. Whisky, smoke, oak, light boozy notes. One of the longest finished I have come across. Tail end: tobacco, oak. ---Rated via Beer Buddy App

Bottle with big thanks to Christos. Medium scale gusher. Black with tan head. Aroma is slightly smokey, vinegary, whisky. Taste of ashy smokey whisky with some vinegary notes and licorice. Tangy. Not sure if it’s as intended but interesting and decent

Bomber shared by Eric, thanks! Gushed a bit on opening. Pours black coffee with a brown head. Aroma is chocolate, coffee, acetic, cherry. Flavor follows nose. Slight sour cherry probably not intended. Metallic finish. Still, not too shabby.
