on tap @ borefts 2012. Now this is what I call a very approachable aperitive beer/cider. Pours light yellow with a fine, steady and firm head. Nose is very floral and fruity, some apple. Super light body (only in perception!) but with a nearly perfect balance between sweetness and sourness, all backed up with a massive fruity taste and light finishing bitterness. Together with Jester King’s Bower Revenge and Haanbryggeriet’s Sur Megge and Krokkebic the surprises of this festival!

Gedronken op borefts’12, kleur is goud/geel, helder, wite schuimkraag, ruikt beetje zuur, smaakt muf, zuur, beetje appel maar vooral muf/stoffig

From tap @Borefts 2012. Hazy yellow golden. Fully fading blond head. Tart apples and a whiff of wood to the nose. Acidic tart apple flavor. Pepper and wood tones. Faintl bitterness. Yeasty endnotes.

Säuerlich frischer Beginn, angenehme und starke natürliche Apfelnoten. Milde Herbe, zum Ende milder werdend. Süffig, gut. 11/11/11/11//11

Draft @ ‘t Schooltje, merci Carlo.

Draft @ bbf. Aroma has green apple, faint malt and some woody vanilla notes. Flavour is light sour, green apple and some funk. Nice and fresh.

Not my favourite beverage: ciders nor bretty beers. However, this bretty cider ale is a very interesting brew that melts fruity and wild flavours with nice tannins of apples and crispy tones. Very well done.

Sample at Borefts Beer Festival 2012. Pours a hazy and golden beer with no head. The aroma is apples, tart and acidity. The flavor follows the nose. The palate is refreshing with sweetness. Overall a good beer.

Draught @ 4th Borefts Beer Festival 2012, Brouwerij de Molen, Bodegraven, Netherlands.

Light unclear medium yellow orange colour with a small, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy apple, barrel, wood, tart wood and apples, bourbon - vanilla notes. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate acidic with a long duration. Quit nice - well made ;-) Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat to soft. [20120929]
