Tasted during RBWG15. Clear amber color. Thin off white ring of head. Loose bits of lace. Medium to bigger body. Smooth, kind of crisp lighter carbonation. Light slick texture. Great potent aroma.. Mild caramel, some Belgian yeast, light spiciness. Moderate plus sweet taste, kind of drying in the finish. Moderate bitter. Some mild by the finish, nothing bothersome though especially for alcohol. Very fun stuff to try.

Bottle - Apricot and stone fruit with lots of caramel and apple. Clear gold with a light beige head. Clear copper. Boozy, stone fruit, apple and sweet caramel. Sticky and viscous. Sweet, boozy, but not all that bad.

Bottle at James’ house for the End of History tasting. Pours a clear brown with some yeasty bits, but I got the end of the bottle. Vinegar and wood, caramel. Sweet and sticky, big and boozy. Lots of warm alcohol, chewy caramel. Syrup and caramel, more warm boozy alcohol. Smooth in spite of the alcohol.

Bottle 75 cl. Took like 15 min. to get through the wax! Jesus fucking Christ! Surprisingly subtle aroma, perhaps a little pine. Rich, sweet body - very low in carbonation. Complex caramel aromas combined with loads of dark, dried fruit. Very warming alcohol finish but never really boozy. A pleasant surprise. 081114

Really god. Smells of raisins and syrup. The taste is thick and sweet, comparable of an aged port wine. Only has 5 cl but it was enough. The taste lasts for a long time. Also hade the opportunity to talk to the brewer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sampled at the End of History tasting. Aroma is brown sugar, molasses, and chocolate. Pours sludgy black and brown with tons of oily film and no head. Taste is super sweet with molasses, dark chocolate, and brown sugar. Thick coating mouthfeel but no real alcohol burn. Nice beer flavored syrup, really.
