Keg at The Hanging Bat. Clear golden body with a thin white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of dough, potato, grass and boiled green vegetables. Flavour of salted bread, green apple and a hint of lemon zest. Medium body with a light, oily texture. Soft fizz. The aroma isn’t great but this is an interesting, distinctive Lager.

Sampled at Schooltje. Had a sip in between huge BA Black Alberts so can’t go into the nuances. All I remember it had no off flavors so it was properly made Pils. Also quite soft and watery mouth feel.

Old review I think for Alvinne festival. Pours a light yellow with a fluffy white cap. The smell is grain and grass. The taste is grain & grass with a crisp, slightly bitter ending. Elegant, a bit oily, light+ in body.

Keg at the school, Oostvleteren, 21/11/15. Clear golden blonde topped with a big whte cap. Nose is pale malt, straw, citric peel, bread, grain. Taste comprises lemon rind, grain, straw, bread dough, pale malt. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent for style.

Keg at the school, Oostvleteren as ’Havic Pils’. Clear yellow, still, small foamy white head. Aroma is pale barley, bread, crackers. Body is light, tingly carbonation, smooth. Taste is dough, bread, crackers, watery malt, soft bitterness. Pretty similar to any other pils in terms of flavour profile, but very clean, drinkable and well-executed.
