Draft, The Trappist. Very good IPA. It’s nicely balanced but still packs good hop flavor. Aroma is grassy with some citrus rind. Amarillo hops are evident. Caramel malt and yeast aromas backs things up. Taste is balanced for an American-style IPA. Good malt sweetness with a relatively dry and bitter finish. It’s definitely not a palate wrecker but rather a drinkable and tasty IPA.

At Borefts BF 2010. Haze gold, thick white head. Peachy and hoppy. Dry hopping really comes through with the Amarillos. REally drinkable. Dry hopped belgian blond of a beer.

Bottle that Me & Loz picked up from Dranken Geers, Oostakker, Nr Gent, Belgium 18.12.10 consumed 25.12.10 Pours hazy light brown with a good head. The American hops shine through on the nose, soft in the mouth, touch of perfume and fragrant hops, tangle on the tongue. A7 A3 T8 P4 Ov15 3.7

Tasted on 12/24/10 from a 330mL bottle sent to me as an extra in a trade, Lot 41/24/2010. What a cool extra! Pours clear bright orange with a massive thick white head that recedes to thick, rocky lace. The nose is earthy hops with some tropical fruits and raspberry, and a light hay malt undertone. The flavor features the sweet tropical and raspberry fruits up front, moving to caramel malt, with the citrus and earthy hops helping to tie everything together. The body is light with average carbonation, and a long earthy hops and tropical fruit finish. This beer is very interesting, and very enjoyable.

Flöska. Cloudy amber olour, nice big white head. Aroma of yeast, exotic fruit, pine. Good mouthfeel. Pleasant flavour of exotic fruit, yeast, pine, good bitter hoppiness. Well lasting dry bitter hoppy and yeasty fruity finish. Very nice.
